This book is far better than I expected. Zoho Writer is covered right away as an introduction and in depth, and then Connor moves quickly to Zoho's strength: collaboration followed by spreadsheets. Well worth the money, and not just a regurgitation of the Help files or blog content. The content is easy to follow and never bogs down into trudge or minutiae. Businesses using Zoho as an office platform will really be able to take advantage of its features after learning how complete a solution it is.
My main computers are Linux systems and once in a while I have to jump to a Windows box at some offices. Nancy Connor shows that by using the ISO-standard open source ODF over proprietary Microsoft formats, you can take your data with you anywhere -- from disc to Google and back to OpenOffice to MS Office to OS X to Linux to Windows. (Microsoft formats have been notoriously unreliable over the years and can only be used on Windows computers using expensive Microsoft software.) Loaded with tips and explanations to save you time and better, not waste your time once you get started. Connor's book is well worth having at hand, I promise.

CAVEAT: The QUE/Safari website allows you to access a free version online, which is good for 45 days after registration. There is also a free PDF version offered, but it downloaded using a microscopic PDF icon at the top of the web page, so look for it. It will "generate" the PDF and send you an email link telling you where to download it. Make sure you get the full copy of the book and not just a PDF of one chapter.
